US call center owners, operators and their advisers

Sell call center data to AI, starting with what your QA stack kept

Every scored call has already passed through a quality, analytics or transcription vendor. We read 16 of their published documents up to 2026-10-28, and 7 of 15 vendors write themselves a right to the data once it is aggregated or de-identified.

The call records

Which records matter most to you?

  • Every call center enquiry is read by a person
  • No vendor on the board sees what you send
  • We never ask for recordings or caller details

How it works

  1. Name the records you hold and the QA or analytics tools they sit in.
  2. We set those tools against the clauses on our board and against the consent rules on our register.
  3. You get a written reply on which records could be licensed, and which deal shape fits: a licence while you trade, a sale of a closed company's records, or an introduction through your adviser.

No call center vendor or buyer paid to appear here, and none knew we were reading its documents; there are no affiliate links. Each row is our reading of a published document, not advice on your own contract. How we are paid: when a call center licenses records to a buyer we introduced, the center pays us 12.5% of that deal, subject to a minimum, if we act as its exclusive agent, or 10%, subject to a minimum, if its records join a pooled sale; the terms are agreed in writing first, and any fee a buyer pays us comes off the center's bill.

What call center QA, speech analytics and transcription vendors write about your data

Last updated

One row per vendor, linked to the published document we read. A stated answer rests on a sentence in that document; where none of the vendor's documents we read covers a question, the row reads not stated.

Each vendor's own published terms were read through estate-fetch and stored whole (sha256 on every row). For every document, four questions were answered from the vendor's own words: who owns the business's data, vendor keeps aggregated or anonymised use, training AI on the business's data, export at exit. Every stated answer carries the sentence it rests on, checked against the stored text; 'not stated' means the document read does not address the question. A vendor with several documents reads 'varies' where they disagree. 15 vendors, 16 documents.

The questions we get

Can a US call center sell its call data to an AI company?

Some of it. The transcripts, QA scorecards and analytics a center produced about its own calls are the records the buyers on our board name. The raw audio is the hardest part: California Penal Code 632.7 makes recording a cellular call without every party's consent an offence, and California Civil Code 1798.140 counts a voice recording that yields a voiceprint as biometric information.(Call center qa software data terms: every row, with its source)

Do QA and speech analytics vendors claim my call recordings?

Ownership mostly stays with you: 12 of the 15 vendors on our board say so in the terms we read. The catch is the next clause, where 7 of them keep a right to aggregated or de-identified versions of what passes through.(Call center qa software data terms: every row, with its source)

Which call analytics vendors may train their own models on my calls?

ASAPP's online terms let it use customer data to train its speech recognition and language models, and Observe.AI's data processing addendum lets it train its general models on de-identified data derived from customer data. Speechmatics, Ender Turing, Insight7 and Scorebuddy write the opposite, and Deepgram and AssemblyAI offer an opt-out.(Call center qa software data terms: every row, with its source)

How long do I have to get the data out if I cancel?

Thirty days is the usual window where a document states one: Gong, MaestroQA and Zendesk make data available for export for 30 days after the end. Insight7's terms say data you have not saved is lost when the account is deleted, so export before you give notice.(Call center qa software data terms: every row, with its source)

Who buys call center transcripts and QA data?

Defined.ai, micro1, Troveo, Nyne and Protege license data from the companies that hold it, by their own pages. micro1 names support tickets and CRM records among what it takes, and Troveo and Nyne both ask for whole conversation threads with replies kept.(Call center qa software data terms: every row, with its source)

Can I sell the calls I handled for my clients?

Not on your own say-so. Where you recorded a client's customers, the client is usually the party a buyer will want to see agreeing, and the federal Wiretap Act and state consent statutes look at the parties to each call. Tell us which calls were whose, and we will say what can be offered.(Call center qa software data terms: every row, with its source)
